All the pieces on this new CD reflect on Time and Eternity, conveying a sense of meaningful dramatism. The selected Gregorian chants come from the oldest liturgical repertoire. These chants explore specific periods of a human life such as times of distress, calamity, hope or even joy as though following the motto: “Everything has its hour” (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Equally, all the contemporary pieces commissioned by the ensemble blend in well with the thematic line.
